International Cluster-to-Cluster (C2C) Meeting in Bologna | 5.6.2019
The International Cluster-to-Cluster (C2C) meeting will be held in Bologna (Italy) on the 5th June 2019.
The meeting is conceived as a summit that will gather high level representatives from national and regional clusters around Europe to exchange innovative models for cluster cooperation, explore common areas of interest for joint actions, activate new partnerships among clusters and between clusters and other innovation actors, and much more.
The C2C meeting provides the opportunity to all participants to learn about the latest development of the New European Cluster Policies and to prepare the ground for practical cluster cooperation across borders.
The meeting programme includes two interactive sessions featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions and bilateral meetings on cluster innovation and collaboration topics.
The first session is a workshop to discuss ways for setting up and boosting international cluster-to-cluster collaborations which includes keynote and inspirational speeches and a round table with European policy-makers, cluster representatives and practitioners.
The second session is a match-making in which several rounds of cluster-to-cluster meetings will take place. Cluster representatives will be able to schedule multiple one-to-one meetings with international peers in the following fields:
- Agrifood
- Mechatronics and motoristics
- Life Sciences and Well-being
- Building and Construction
- Cultural and Creative Industries
- Energy and Sustainable Development
- Service Innovation & Big Data
The C2C meeting is a side event of the 14th edition of R2B - Research to Business international exhibition and is organized by ASTER in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network and promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region.
All cluster representatives participating in the C2C meeting will have the opportunity to join the R2B - Research to Business exhibition and all related activities, including the Innovate&Match brokerage event on the 6th-7th June.
How to participate
The event is open to all clusters and cluster-like organisations and is free of charge, upon registration (mandatory) since the number of participants is limited. The C2C meeting’s registration form is available on-line here.
C2C Travel grant
A number of travel grants are made available to European clusters (excluding Italian clusters) willing to participate in the event. The deadline for grant application is the 6th May 2019.
